CDL Driver - Water Truck
Job Description
Job Summary Texas Clear Cut is seeking a full-time water truck driver to join our earthwork team. This individual must have an active CDL and be able to pass MVR and drug screenings per DOT standards. Ideally, this individual will have experience driving trucks both on and off-road. This individual should be comfortable operating heavy equipment, such as a roller, when the water truck is not needed. Responsibilities
- Drive 4,000 gallon water truck both on the highway and offroad at job sites
- Conduct routine maintenance and safety inspections on trucks and equipment
- Coordinate with construction crew to ensure smooth operations
- Comply with applicable safety, licensing, and machine operating policies and procedures at all times Requirements
- Active Class A Commercial Driver's License is REQUIRED, Tanker Endorsement
REQUIRED
- Participation in random drug screening pool is
REQUIRED
- Familiarity with OSHA's guidelines for operating heavy equipment
- Mechanical knowledge for truck equipment maintenance
- This employee must be dependable and able to reliably commute to jobsites in central Texas on weekdays and weekends as needed
