Job Description

Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled Shuttle Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently between designated locations. This role requires a strong understanding of various driving equipment and the ability to navigate routes effectively while adhering to safety regulations. Duties Operate shuttle vehicles, including box trucks, tractor-trailers, and heavy equipment, ensuring safe transport of goods. Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment as necessary. Perform routine inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition before and after trips. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and cargo details. Follow designated routes while being adaptable to changes as needed for efficient delivery. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding schedules and any issues that arise during transport. Experience Proven experience in route driving with a clean driving record is preferred. Familiarity with operating various types of vehicles such as school buses, tankers, and manual transmission vehicles is a plus. Experience in loading and unloading cargo safely using appropriate equipment is essential. Previous experience in heavy equipment operation is beneficial but not mandatory.
