Commissary:
The Goode Company Commissary supports our restaurants and direct-to-customer operations through consistent production, careful handling, and reliable fulfillment. The Role The Commissary Driver delivers food, supplies, and equipment safely and on time while protecting product quality and representing the company with care. What You'll Do Inspect the assigned vehicle and confirm the route, schedule, load, paperwork, and special instructions. Complete scheduled transfers between the commissary, restaurants, customers, and vendors with accurate receiving signatures. Load, secure, transport, unload, and hand off food, supplies, or equipment safely. Maintain product temperature, packaging integrity, chain of custody, and delivery accuracy. Follow traffic laws, parking rules, company driving standards, and incident-reporting procedures. Communicate delays, delivery issues, shortages, and route changes promptly. What You'll Bring Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record. Delivery, catering, warehouse, restaurant, or customer service experience is preferred. Safe driving habits, punctuality, route awareness, and accurate documentation. Ability to load and unload independently and interact professionally at delivery sites. Any vehicle class, insurance, or age requirement must be confirmed by P&C before release. Physical & Schedule Requirements Stand, walk, bend, reach, load, unload, and carry materials throughout event preparation and service. Regularly lift and carry up to 35 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds with assistance when needed. Work in kitchens, loading areas, vehicles, event venues, and outdoor environments with changing temperatures. Drive for extended periods, repeatedly enter and exit a vehicle, and move safely through delivery or event sites. Maintain availability for event-driven schedules, including early mornings, nights, weekends, holidays, and variable shift lengths.
