Job Description
Crete Carrier Corporation is seeking a Regional CDL A Truck Driver to safely haul dry van and refrigerated freight across assigned regional lanes. You'll operate late-model equipment, complete on-time pickups and deliveries, and strictly follow DOT and FMCSA regulations. Responsibilities include pre- and post-trip inspections, accurate ELD logging, freight securement, and clear communication with dispatch and customers. Responsibilities Safely operate CDL A tractor-trailer on assigned regional routes Transport dry van and refrigerated freight with on-time pickup and delivery Comply with all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety regulations and policies Complete pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections and document findings Accurately use ELDs to record hours of service and maintain required logs Secure and protect freight, reporting any damage, delays, or incidents promptly Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and support teams Maintain clean, well-cared-for equipment and report maintenance needs Follow company procedures for fuel, routing, and load assignments Represent Crete Carrier professionally with customers and the public Required Skills CDL Class A driving Tractor-trailer operation ELD/HOS compliance
