Must have 2 Years Towing and Recovery experience, as well have a Current TDLR. This is salary with after hours comission. Duties Safely operate Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) tow trucks, including flatbed and rollback models, to recover disabled or damaged vehicles from various locations. Load, secure, and unload vehicles using appropriate equipment such as winches, straps, and chains while adhering to safety protocols. Perform basic automotive diagnostics and mechanical assessments to determine the best recovery approach or identify repair needs. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients, explaining services, and ensuring a positive experience during roadside assistance. Conduct routine inspections of tow trucks and equipment to ensure operational safety and readiness; perform minor repairs or report maintenance needs promptly. Manage conflict situations professionally when dealing with distressed customers or challenging roadside scenarios. Requirements Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record. Proven experience operating tow trucks, especially flatbed or rollback models. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform automotive diagnostics and basic repairs. Familiarity with manual transmissions and automotive repair tools. Knowledge of load securing techniques, automotive safety standards, and towing regulations. Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency in diverse environments. Ability to handle stressful situations calmly while managing conflicts effectively. Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, load/unload vehicles, and perform manual tasks as required. Prior experience with forklift operation is a plus for handling heavy equipment safely.
