Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking yard hand that will be responsible for various tasks related to maintaining the physical yard and preparing trailers for sale or customer pickup. This often includes assembling trailers, performing basic maintenance and repairs, and ensuring the yard is organized and clean. Responsibilities This includes assembling new trailers as they arrive, ensuring all parts are correctly installed and the trailer is ready for customer delivery or sale. Keeping the yard tidy, staging trailers for sale, and ensuring clear pathways for movement. Using tractors and other equipment to move trailers and materials within the yard. Loading and unloading trailers. Performing basic maintenance on yard equipment.

Skills Mechanical Aptitude:

A basic understanding of how trailers and equipment work.

Physical Stamina:

The job involves lifting, bending, and working outdoors.

Ability to follow instructions:

Both written and verbal.

Attention to detail:

To ensure trailers are assembled and maintained correctly.
