Other duties may be assigned. Loads truck by hand or by operating mechanical loader. Pulls levers or turns crank to tilt body and dump contents. Perform inspections of vehicle systems, equipment and accessories such as tires, lights, turn signals and brakes Ensure cargo is properly loaded according to safety requirements, size up load Follow all safety policies, procedures and legislation, at all times observes and operates within applicable traffic laws Communicate with other Haul Truck Drivers and equipment operators using communication devices such as a two-ways radio or onboard computers Moves hand and foot controls to jerk truck forward and backward to loosen and dump material adhering to body. Position Requirements High School diploma/GED. Have a minimum of 1-2 years of haul truck driving experience or a minimum of 2 years of training with a minimum of 6 months of equivalent work experience. Must have 1+ year in maintain log books Willing to do labor work Ability to work safely under pressure with time constraints in a changing environment.
