Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Truck Driver to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks and trailers to deliver material to various job sites. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, adherence to safety regulations, and ability to handle different cargo types will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers and other commercial vehicles in compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Load and unload freight manually or with equipment such as forklifts, ensuring proper handling of hazardous materials and dangerous goods according to hazardous materials regulations. Secure cargo properly using appropriate techniques for different types. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues before and after each trip. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle inspections in accordance with FMCSA regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and employer regarding any issues encountered during transportation. Requirements Valid Commercial Driver's License class A with doubles and triples endorsments(CDL) with necessary endorsements for operating different vehicle types such as side dumps, belly dumps and flatbeds. Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including route driving and delivery driver roles. Proficiency in manual transmission vehicles and manual handling techniques for cargo management. Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT rules, hazardous materials regulations, and safety standards governing commercial trucking operations. Ability to load & unload material safely. $25.55 - $32.00 per hour
