In this role, you will operate specialized side dump trucks to transport and deliver materials across construction sites, ensuring efficient and timely completion of projects. Your expertise in heavy equipment operation, adherence to safety regulations, and commitment to maintenance will be vital in supporting our construction operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced environment where your skills directly contribute to building infrastructure and completing large-scale projects. Duties Safely operate side dump trucks to haul materials such as gravel, dirt, and debris within construction sites and between locations. Conduct routine inspections of trucks and related equipment, performing basic maintenance and troubleshooting as needed to ensure optimal performance. Follow all federal construction safety regulations, equipment safety procedures, and site-specific safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment. Assist with construction utility work by supporting excavation, grading, and site preparation activities using heavy machinery like loaders, excavators, backhoes, and water trucks. Coordinate with site supervisors and other heavy equipment operators to ensure smooth logistics and timely delivery of materials. Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, inspections, and maintenance activities for compliance and record-keeping purposes. Support the operation of additional construction machinery such as Caterpillar equipment and water trucks as required for various site tasks. Experience Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a focus on construction or heavy equipment operation. Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction machinery maintenance and troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with loader operation, excavator use, backhoe operation, and construction grading techniques. Familiarity with construction utility work including utility locating and excavation procedures. Knowledge of federal construction safety regulations, equipment safety procedures, and general safety regulations on job sites. Prior experience working on large-scale construction projects with a solid understanding of site logistics and heavy equipment coordination. Ability to operate Caterpillar machinery safely and efficiently while adhering to all safety standards. Join us in building the future!
