Job Summary Rocky Mountain Concrete & Construction is hiring an experienced excavation operator with a Class A CDL. We're a Utah-based concrete and construction contractor running projects across the Wasatch Front and surrounding areas. What You'll Do Operate heavy equipment on excavation projects — excavator, loader, skid steer, dozer Haul material and equipment using a side dump or dump truck Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections and basic equipment maintenance Work safely around crews, grade stakes, and utilities; follow site safety requirements Communicate with the foreman on site conditions, material needs, and equipment issues. What You'll Need Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record ( CDL required — no exceptions ) Current DOT medical card, or ability to obtain one before starting Verifiable experience operating excavation equipment Ability to pass a pre-employment DOT drug screen and FMCSA Clearinghouse query Reliable transportation and consistent attendance — crews start early Tanker or doubles endorsement a plus Join us if you're eager to bring your expertise in excavation and commercial driving into a fast-paced construction setting where safety is paramount!
