Logistics Driver

The Logistics Driver is responsible for safely operating company vehicles to transport goods, materials, and finished products between facilities and customer locations. This role ensures on-time deliveries while maintaining DOT compliance, accurate documentation, and high standards of safety and professionalism.

Primary Responsibilities:

Operate CDL trucks safely and efficiently for scheduled deliveries and pickups. Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections following DOT and company guidelines. Verify load accuracy, secure cargo, and ensure compliance with all transport regulations. Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage reports, and trip records. Communicate with Shipping, Receiving, and Dispatch to ensure smooth delivery operations. Report vehicle maintenance needs, delays, or safety concerns promptly. Follow all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies. Represent the company professionally at all customer and delivery locations. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Logistics Lead or Manager. Skills & Qualifications Valid CDL license with a clean driving record required. Strong understanding of DOT and OSHA regulations. Experience completing inspection checklists, trip logs, and delivery documentation. Basic mechanical aptitude to identify and report vehicle issues. Ability to use onboard systems or delivery tracking tools. Reliable, safety-conscious, and professional. Strong communication and time management skills. Ability to work independently and manage delivery routes efficiently. Customer-focused with a team-oriented attitude. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as bending, climbing, and reaching. Experience Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Minimum of 3 years of commercial driving experience preferred. Experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment preferred. Current CDL and applicable endorsements required.

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm.

From $23.00 per hour
