Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires excellent time management skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional service. Responsibilities Safely operate a vehicle to transport goods to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations. Follow scheduled routes and adjust as necessary for traffic or weather conditions. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery status. Ensure the vehicle is clean and well-maintained at all times. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during transportation. Skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations. Excellent navigation skills, with the ability to use GPS systems effectively. Strong time management skills to ensure timely deliveries. Ability to lift heavy packages and perform physical tasks related to loading/unloading goods. Good communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. Attention to detail in maintaining records and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
