Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Truck Driver and take charge of delivering freight efficiently and safely across various routes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate a range of commercial vehicles, including rollbacks and car haulers. As a key player in our logistics network, you will ensure timely load and unload operations while maintaining the highest safety standards. Duties Safely operate a variety of trucks to transport vehicles over designated routes. Load and unload vehicles efficiently using appropriate equipment when necessary, ensuring cargo integrity and safety. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle condition, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and load securement. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and route documentation in compliance with federal and state regulations. Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols during route driving to ensure personal safety and that of other road users. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or any issues encountered during trips. Qualifications Proven experience as a commercial driver with a focus on truck driving across various vehicle types. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to the vehicle type operated preffered but not required. Must be willing to obtain. Knowledge of safety regulations related to trucking operations and cargo securement standards. Ability to perform detailed vehicle inspections and adhere to maintenance schedules.
