Job Description
Duties:
- Operate tractor/lowboy to transfer materials and equipment to and from job sites
- Load and unload materials using heavy equipment or manual labor
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the truck and equipment
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Check and communicate as necessary all maintenance needs to ensure truck maintains good working performance
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and fuel usage.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a truck driver
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as tractor/lowboy combo, dump trucks, or forklifts is preferred
- Knowledge of proper loading and unloading techniques
- Familiarity with local traffic laws and regulations
- Excellent driving record with no major violations or accidents
