Are you skilled with heavy equipment and looking for hands-on work that keeps your community running? The Department of Public Works is hiring an Equipment Operator/Driver/Laborer to help maintain the Town's roads, water systems, and public properties. What You'll Do

• Operate heavy-duty trucks and equipment — including small trucks to tandem axle, a front-end loader, and a tractor/loader/backhoe — for road, sidewalk, and utility work
• Maintain, repair, and construct roadways, sidewalks, and culverts
• Support winter operations, including snow and ice control with overtime and non-standard work hours required
• Install and maintain water mains, hydrants, catch basins, and sewer systems
• Care for Town properties, including parks, playgrounds, and Cedar Grove Cemetery
• Perform routine vehicle and equipment maintenance and minor repairs What We're Looking For
• Ability to safely and proficiently operate heavy-duty trucks and equipment
• Comfort working outdoors in all weather, with moderate to significant physical effort
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Basic math and writing ability
• High School diploma or GED
