Tapani Careers Responsibilities The Side Dump Driver is responsible for loading and delivering legal loads of material to a destination in a safe and timely manner.
Your main responsibilities are:
Driving/Operating Vehicle-Ability to drive a side dump truck and truck and pupTransportation and Delivery of materials-Transporting crushed rock, sand, and gravel to and from specified locationsAdministrative Tracking-Completing daily truck logsSafety-Willingness to observe all safety precautions while driving and delivering materialsUpholding the Purpose Document of Tapani Inc.-Your actions and behaviors support Strong Teams and Successful Projects Skills and Qualifications As a Side Dump Driver, you establish and continue to grow the following skills and qualifications: Knowledge of operating a side dump truck-Having a solid understanding of the vehicle and how it operates Communication Skills-Ability to effectively communicate verbally with coworkers Decision Making Skills-Ability to think quickly and adjust accordinglySome higher education or vocational training specializing in truck driving1-2 years of experience driving in the construction industryMust have Class A CDL certificationValid Medical Examiners CertificationAbility to work overtime, occasional evenings, and weekends
Compensation and Benefits Pay:
$25.91 - $38.86 per hour(based on qualifications and experience)Comprehensive Medical Insurance plans with low to $0 monthly premiumsAdditional voluntary insurance options include: Dental, Vision, and a wide variety of Supplemental insurances.
