You'll be responsible for delivering freight to designated locations using various types of trucks, including those with manual transmissions, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers with automatic transmissions across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols Deliver goods to customers' locations on a scheduled basis, ensuring accurate and timely deliveries Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety. Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, delivery records, and vehicle maintenance reports in compliance with DOT regulations Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes, delivery updates, or any issues encountered during shifts
