Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver, where you'll be the backbone of our logistics operations! In this energetic role, you'll operate tractor-trailers and various specialized trucks to deliver freight safely and efficiently across designated routes. Your expertise will ensure timely delivery of goods, including refrigerated items, flatbed loads, tankers, and more. Whether you're loading and unloading cargo or navigating complex routes, your dedication will keep our supply chain moving smoothly. Responsibilities Safely operate a variety of trucks including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, refrigerated trailers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other freight vehicles. Load and unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations. Deliver freight to multiple locations across assigned routes while adhering to delivery schedules. Manage route driving responsibilities with precision, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo documentation, and delivery records in compliance with federal and state regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status or any issues encountered during routes. Skills Proven experience in truck driving with a valid CDL A license; familiarity with manual transmission preferred. Experience operating specialized trucks such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks. Strong knowledge of freight handling including load & unload procedures and securing cargo properly. Ability to drive tractor-trailers safely over long distances and through various weather conditions. Familiarity with route planning and navigation for efficient deliveries across diverse locations. Skilled in operating auxiliary equipment like forklifts when required for loading or unloading cargo. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with dispatch and warehouse teams.
