Job Description

We Are Inspired to Serve. Join us! Seasonal Position, responsible for transporting employees on 14 passenger shuttle bus to Mercer Island Park and Ride/ Light Rail Station and transporting residents from their residence to dining and return.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist the residents onto and off the vehicle as necessary. Notify their supervisor of any required repairs to the vehicle. Complete the checklist on Shuttle at the beginning of each day, check the gas on the van before each trip. Comply with vehicle inspection schedule. Report broken or non working items to your supervisor.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Required Degree:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Certificate(s):
Valid Driver's License Experience:
2+ Years
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY
Sufficient physical ability and mobility to lift resident walkers (20 lbs.) into and remove from vehicle. Ability to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist. Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight up to 50 lbs. Familiarity with texting, Outlook on cell phones. C larity of Vision Excellent night vision required For near visual acuity Clarity of vision at approximately 20 inches or less (i.e., working with small objects or reading small print), including use of computers. For Far visual acuity, Clarity of vision at 20 feet or more. This is not just the ability to see a person or object, but the ability to recognize features as well. For peripheral vision, observing an area that can be seen up and down or to right or left while eyes are fixed on a given point.
Compensation Pay Range:
$18.44 - $24.00 per hour Reasonable Pay Estimate A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $18.44 - $24.00 per hour. There are numerous factors taken into consideration in determining the actual offered rate of pay, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, experience, skills, education, geographic location, and consideration of internal and external equity.
