Job Description
Team Fischer is looking for a full-time Quad Axle Dump Truck Driver to join our team. Team Fischer is a family-owned, locally operated trucking company that has been in the community for over 30 years. Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a quad axle dump truck to deliver materials such as dirt, gravel, and other construction materials to job sites or other locations.
- Perform routine safety inspections on trucks and equipment before each and after each shift (DVIR) to ensure all vehicles are road ready.
- Maintain an accurate log of all deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, other drivers, and individuals on the job site to ensure proper deliveries.
- Comply with all safety rules and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Valid Class A or B CDL with a clean driving record
- Quad Axle Dump Truck driving experience
- Understand and comply with construction site safety procedures and protocols.
- Ability to perform routine maintenance checks on trucks and equipment
- Must have a current DOT Medical Card and the ability to pass a drug test Pay starts at $28 an hour, but experienced drivers can expect a higher starting wage!
