Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency. This role involves transporting goods across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the flow of our operations and providing excellent service to our clients. Duties Plan routes effectively to ensure timely delivery while considering traffic patterns and road conditions. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition. Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, fuel consumption, and other required documentation. Follow all safety protocols and regulations during transport operations. Communicate with dispatchers regarding any issues or delays encountered on the road. Requirements Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle being operated. Proven experience in truck driving, preferably with route driving, delivery driver, or freight transportation experience. Familiarity with operating different types of trucks such as dump trucks, flatbeds, is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations related to commercial driving. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and being able to strow straps for securement. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
