Job Description

Orica is seeking a safety-focused CDL Class B Driver to support our mining, quarrying, and oil & gas customers in Kaukauna, WI. In this role, you'll transport explosives and blasting materials to customer and field locations, ensuring strict compliance with DOT, OSHA, and hazardous materials regulations. You'll perform pre- and post-trip inspections, maintain accurate logs and manifests, and coordinate deliveries with operational teams. Responsibilities Safely operate CDL Class B truck to transport explosives and blasting materials to customer sites Follow all DOT, OSHA, and Orica safety regulations, vehicle inspections, and documentation requirements Load and unload products using proper material handling techniques and security procedures Complete delivery logs, manifests, and regulatory paperwork accurately and on time Coordinate with blasting and site teams to ensure timely deliveries and product availability Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, reporting maintenance or safety issues promptly Adhere to strict security, hazardous materials, and environmental compliance standards Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and customers to resolve delivery issues Required Skills CDL Class B truck operation Hazardous materials handling DOT compliance and regulations OSHA and safety procedures Vehicle inspection and basic maintenance Load securement and material handling Delivery routing and scheduling Documentation and logbook management Two-way radio and dispatch communication Time management and reliability
