Class A CDL Local Driver - Full-Time Daniels Street Location | $34/Hour | Tuesday-Saturday This is an opportunity that doesn't come along often! Certco is looking for a Full-Time Class A CDL Driver to join our team at our Daniels Street location in Madison, WI. Driver openings at our Daniel Street location are not available often, making this a great opportunity to join an established team and build a long-term career with a company that values its employees.

Tuesday-Saturday As a Certco driver, you'll play an important role in delivering grocery products to our customers while representing Certco on the road and at customer locations. We're looking for dependable, safety-minded professionals who take pride in their work and provide excellent customer service. What You'll Do Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle Deliver grocery products to Certco customers Safely load and transport product Complete required paperwork and delivery documentation Perform required vehicle inspections Provide professional and courteous service to customers Communicate with dispatch, warehouse personnel, customers, and other team members Follow all DOT, company, and safety requirements Maintain a clean and safe vehicle and work environment Work independently while being part of a team Perform other duties as assigned What We're Looking For Valid Class A CDL Safe driving record Dependable attendance and strong work ethic Good communication and customer service skills Ability to safely handle and move product Ability to work independently and as part of a team Previous commercial driving or delivery experience preferred Why Certco? Saturday Position Summary:

Provides support for the warehouse by driving trucks to deliver grocery orders to customers, and other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Essential Job Functions:

Operate tractor-trailers in a safe and efficient manner. Load and unload pallets off and onto trucks. Operate pallet jacks in a safe and efficient manner. Perform pre-trip and post trip inspections of equipment. Perform hook and drop of trailers. Comply with all D.O.T. requirements. Responds to customers' inquiries about their orders. Performs other related duties as assigned by management. Is regular in attendance and complies with the Company Attendance Policy Must have a valid Class A CDL Must be insurable for auto Insurance coverage Ability to lift 80 lbs.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of D.O.T regulations and hours of service requirements. Skill in operating pallets jacks, forklifts and tractor-trailers. Ability to pay close attention to detail and coordinate various activities simultaneously. Ability to communicate with customers, co-workers and business contacts in a courteous and professional manner. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
