IRONWORKS TRUCK AND EQUIPMENT
South Central Wisconsin | Serving the Midwest USA Salesperson - Service Bodies & Waste Hauling Solutions Position Overview Ironworks Truck and Equipment, headquartered in South Central Wisconsin, is seeking an experienced Salesperson for our commercial truck upfitting division. In this role, you will drive business growth across our Midwest territory by delivering customized vehicle solutions, with a primary focus on selling high-quality service bodies and specialized waste hauling equipment to commercial fleets, contractors, and municipal buyers. In this role, you will use your technical expertise to help clients build the exact work trucks they need to keep their businesses moving. This position reports directly to the General Manager.
Key Responsibilities Drive Revenue Growth:
Create and execute sales strategies to expand our footprint in the service body and waste hauling markets across the Midwest.
Consultative Selling:
Work directly with fleet managers and business owners to specify truck chassis, service bodies, hooklifts, roll-offs, and dump bodies.
Build Key Accounts:
Establish long-term relationships with regional commercial truck dealerships, municipalities, and private waste haulers.
Collaborate Internally:
Partner closely with our General Manager, internal engineering and shop production teams to prepare accurate quotes and estimates to ensure realistic high-quality builds with realistic build times.
Experience & Skills Needed Industry Experience:
Prefer3 years of B2B sales experience preferably in the truck upfitting, commercial vehicle, or heavy equipment sectors.
Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of commercial truck chassis, hydraulic systems, PTOs, and vocational body integration a plus.
Waste Industry Expertise:
Direct experience working with waste hauling solutions, including roll-off systems, garbage bodies, or hooklifts, is highly preferred.
Leadership Skills:
Proven track record of managing a sales pipeline and closing large fleet deals.
Travel:
Willingness to travel throughout our Midwest territory to meet clients and support field sales efforts. What We Offer Competitive base salary with an aggressive, performance-based bonus structure. $90,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
