Job Description
Job Summary Poynette Veterinary Care is a growing, fast paced family-owned practice looking to add a dedicated and enthusiastic full time or part time Customer Service Specialist to our team. We are located in the beautiful Lake Wisconsin area, just 20 minutes North of Madison. We are a progressive practice focused on preventative care, client education, and individualized medicine/surgery. This position is best suited for an individual with exceptional communication skills that can work independently as well as collaborate with the medical team to best service our clients, patients, and staff. This is a full time or part time position with the successful applicant being able to work a variety of hours as well as one Saturday morning per month totaling 25-40 hours a week. Key Responsibilities Client Communications :
Greet clients and their pets warmly, answer multi-line phone calls, respond to emails, and manage inquiries regarding services.Appointment Scheduling :
Book, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments, managing the daily schedule to optimize veterinarian time and minimize wait times.Check-In & Check-Out :
Process client check-ins, verify patient information, handle billing, and collect payments accurately using our practice management software.Administrative Support :
Maintain client and patient medical records, process prescription refilling requests, file documentation, and handle end-of-day reconciliation reports.Qualifications & Skills Experience :
Minimum 1 year of customer service experience; previous experience in a veterinary or medical front office setting is strongly preferred.Communication :
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a calm, empathetic, and professional demeanor.Technical Skills :
Proficiency with computers, multi-line phone systems, and veterinary practice management software.Organizational Ability :
Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Passion forAnimals :
