Job Description
Harter's Disposal is a family owned, multi-generation, and growing company. We currently have several open opportunities for CDL Drivers. We seek drivers who are able to work in a fast-paced environment. Driver's are home every afternoon with very competitive compensation packages. Harter's is seeking drivers in Residential and Roll Off lines of business.
Job Summary:
Safely operates a heavy-duty truck to perform assigned duties on various commercial, and residential routes.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle utilizing standard DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report); notes all issues on DVIR form for corrective review/repair. Immediately reports any unsafe situations or service calls to Route Manager or Dispatch before attempting service. Performs all duties as scheduled by Route Manager or Dispatch, assisting other company drivers as directed. Completely dumps all containers and leaves the customer's location clean and free of debris. Follows route assignments throughout the day and completes all documentation when checking-in at the end of the route.Qualifications :
Minimum of a Commercial Drivers License B (CDL) with air-brake endorsement. Must be 21+ years of age. Eligible to legally work in the United States. Acceptable driving record required.Benefits include:
