2991437168-2 Apply for this job now Job Description PODS is hiring a CDL Truck Driver to safely deliver, pick up, and relocate portable storage containers for residential and commercial customers. In this local, home-daily role, you'll operate CDL vehicles, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, and ensure secure loading and unloading of containers. You'll interact directly with customers, provide courteous, problem-solving service, and follow all DOT, safety, and company policies. Responsibilities Operate CDL truck to deliver, pick up, and relocate PODS containers on local routes Perform thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete required logs Safely load, secure, transport, and unload containers using approved equipment and procedures Follow all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety policies and procedures Communicate professionally with customers, address onsite issues, and provide solutions Coordinate with dispatch to manage daily schedules, routes, and service updates Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicle and equipment Accurately complete delivery documentation and use mobile/dispatch technology Required Skills CDL Class B or A driving Local route navigation Vehicle inspection and maintenance Safe loading and unloading Use of liftgates and loading equipment Electronic logs and DVIRs DOT and FMCSA compliance Customer service and communication Time management and scheduling Basic paperwork and mobile dispatch apps
