Transfer Station Worker / Equipment Operator CORE Advantage -
Superior, WI Pay:
$18.00-$25.00 per hour, based on experience

Monday-Friday, occasional Saturdays Join the CORE Advantage Team CORE Advantage is looking for a dependable Transfer Station Worker / Equipment Operator to join our team at our Superior, Wisconsin facility. This is a hands-on position that combines equipment operation, customer service, material handling, general labor, and maintaining a clean and organized facility. Previous loader or skid-steer experience is a plus, but it is not required. We are willing to train the right person. If you already have equipment experience and can demonstrate your skills, your starting wage will reflect your experience and ability. Responsibilities Assist customers entering and using the transfer station Help and direct customers while unloading materials Sort and separate household garbage, demolition debris, metals, tires, concrete, electronics, and other materials Push back and consolidate material inside the transfer station Manage material brought in by the general public, commercial customers, and CORE Advantage trucks Operate wheel loaders, compact loaders, and skid steers Load trucks, trailers, dumpsters, and customers when needed Keep the transfer station, yard, buildings, and equipment clean and organized Perform general labor and assist with other company operations as needed Complete daily equipment inspections Check fluids, tires, grease points, leaks, and general equipment condition Grease equipment and top off fluids as needed Report maintenance or safety concerns before operating equipment Equipment Depending on your experience and training, you may operate: Large wheel loaders Compact wheel loaders CAT and Bobcat skid steers Dump trucks and other company vehicles when qualified You do not need experience on every piece of equipment. We are willing to train someone who has the right attitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn. Qualifications Dependable and reliable Strong work ethic Comfortable working with the general public Able to perform physical labor Able to work safely around trucks and heavy equipment Comfortable working indoors and outdoors throughout the year Willing to learn different equipment and responsibilities Equipment experience preferred, but not required Valid driver's license preferred Mechanical ability or light maintenance experience is a plus CDL is a plus and may provide additional responsibilities and earning opportunities Schedule Full-time and part-time positions are available. Typical shifts generally fall between approximately 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM , depending on staffing and workload. Employees typically work staggered shifts within those hours. Occasional overtime or later hours may be available depending on workload. Pay $18.00-$25.00 per hour, depending on experience and demonstrated ability. Equipment experience, mechanical ability, a valid driver's license, CDL, and the ability to take on additional responsibilities may increase starting pay and earning potential.
