Driver

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks and trailers to deliver freight efficiently and on time. Your expertise in commercial driving, route navigation, and vehicle handling will ensure smooth logistics operations. Responsibilities Safely operate a variety of trucks including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other commercial vehicles. Load and unload freight accurately, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo such as freight, refrigerated goods, or specialized equipment. Drive assigned routes efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to identify maintenance needs or safety issues. Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, delivery records, and route documentation in compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or any issues encountered during transit. Assist with forklift operation or other equipment as needed for loading or unloading cargo. Experience Proven experience in truck driving or commercial transportation roles, preferably with delivery driver experience across various vehicle types. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; CDL (Commercial Driver's License) preferred but not mandatory depending on vehicle type. Familiarity with manual transmission trucks and the operation of specialized equipment such as forklifts is a plus. Knowledge of route planning, load securing techniques, and safety procedures for freight transportation. Experience handling different types of trailers including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks is highly desirable. Ability to perform physical tasks such as loading/unloading cargo and inspecting vehicles regularly. Join our team to drive your career forward! Pay:

$22.97 - $27.66 per hour
