MAXAM is looking for a dependable and safety-focused CDL Class A Hazmat Tanker Driver to join our team in Hernshaw, WV . This isn't your typical driving job. You'll be delivering MAXAM products safely and professionally to customer sites while representing a global leader in civil explosives and specialty products. What's in it for you? $33-$34 per hour Excellent benefits Most runs are 2-day runs Home-based in Hernshaw, WV Fully paid training Full-time, permanent position What You'll Do As a MAXAM driver, you'll be responsible for the safe transportation and delivery of products to customer locations.

Your responsibilities will include:

Safely operate company trucks and trailers while complying with all applicable federal and state regulations. Make customer deliveries of MAXAM products to customer sites. Operate hydraulic, mechanical, and manual loading and unloading equipment. Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Safely load, transport, and unload products. Maintain accurate records and documentation. Interact professionally with customers and assist with orders when required. Monitor and maintain the condition of the truck and trailer. Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting and minor equipment maintenance when necessary. Follow MAXAM's safety, operational, and regulatory procedures. Assist with facility and site operations when you're not on the road. Work closely with site management to ensure safe and efficient operations. What We're Looking For These are mandatory requirements: Valid CDL Class A license Tanker endorsement Hazmat endorsement At least 1 year of commercial driving experience Clean driving record Ability to pass a background check and required employment screening Comfortable with overnight travel Tanker experience is strongly preferred.

Candidates MUST have a CDL Class A with both Tanker and Hazmat endorsements to be considered for this position.
