Job Summary We are seeking a reliable, hands-on Storage Facility Field Representative to manage the day-to-day physical operations and unit readiness of our self-storage properties. This role is highly dynamic, balancing routine site audits, strict security enforcement, and heavy hands-on maintenance.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating power tools—specifically angle grinders—to manage unit locks and property upkeep.

Key Responsibilities Unit Audits & Readiness:

Routinely inspect vacant units to ensure they are clean, swept, and fully rent-ready for new tenants. Delinquency Enforcement (Overlocking): Physically apply facility "overlocks" to past-due tenant units in accordance with company policy.

Lock Removal:

Promptly remove overlocks once payment has been verified to restore tenant access.

Auction Coordination:

Manage the physical process for abandoned or foreclosed units. This includes cutting tenant locks using an angle grinder, recording 20-30 second video inventory of the unit's contents, and securing the unit with a facility lock.

Property Upkeep:

Perform occasional unit clean-outs and properly dispose of abandoned debris. Lawn maintenance would be considered additional pay and is not included in the regular monthly pay if the task is accepted. Position Requirements Experience with

Power Tools:

Must have direct, proficient experience operating an angle grinder and other standard hand/power tools safely.

Mobility & Travel:

Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle to travel to and from the facility.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to lift heavy items, stand for long periods, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Tech-Savvy:

Comfortable using a smartphone or tablet to record high-quality auction videos and update unit status logs via email.

Reliability:

Strong time-management skills with the ability to work independently with minimal daily supervision. Preferred Skills (not required but prefered) Direct experience repairing or adjusting roll-up doors and tracking. Experience with latch repair and replacement . Basic knowledge of electronic gate systems and access control troubleshooting. Minor roofing repair experience.

From $200.00 per month
