Join the Florida Department of Transportation's Road Ranger Program , providing free roadside assistance on SR-826, I-75, and I-95 .
Responsibilities:
Patrol assigned highway zones to monitor safety Assist disabled or abandoned vehicles Remove roadway debris and manage lane closures Provide basic roadside services: tire changes, jump starts, fuel delivery, minor repairs Support emergency responders at crash scenes Operate hand/power tools Work safely in varying weather conditions Lift up to 50 lbs
Requirements:
Must be 23 years or older Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing) High School Diploma or GED (must provide at interview) Valid Florida Driver License (CDL Class A/B ) Clean background check NO Tickets in the last 3 years Must pass drug screening Access to a computer Able to adapt to a changing work schedule Must be able to perform physical job demands Comfortable working weekends and holidays

Afternoon Shift:
1 PM

PM Overnight Shift:
9 PM
•5 AM Full-time positions
Compensation:
Paid training provided After training: CDL A/B License
•$22.00/hr Class E License
•$20.00/hr
