at Mountaire Farms of Delaware in Millsboro, Delaware, United States Job Description The Cage Repair Technician is responsible for repairing and maintaining Live Haul chicken cages and supporting routine maintenance within the Live Holding Shed. This role ensures safe, efficient operations and helps maintain equipment reliability for nightly production. Schedule 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM , Monday-Friday Occasional Saturday work as scheduled Major Duties & Responsibilities Cage Repairs — Inspect, repair, and rebuild Live Haul cages using welding tools, hand tools, and basic fabrication techniques. General Maintenance Support — Assist with additional tasks in the Live Holding Shed as needed, including unplanned or emergency repairs. Safety & Compliance — Follow all PPE requirements, maintain a safe work area, and report unsafe acts or conditions immediately. Work Quality — Complete repairs to a high standard to support equipment longevity, animal welfare, and operational flow.
