$18.00 Start a Hands-On Career in Rail Operations Road & Rail Services is hiring a dependable Railcar Inspection Technician for our West Point, Georgia, operation. In this position, you will inspect, clean, and prepare railcars before they are placed into service for vehicle transportation. This is an active, outdoor role that requires attention to detail, consistent attendance, and a strong commitment to safety. You will use backpack blowers, scraping tools, and other equipment to remove debris and materials that could damage vehicles during transport. You will also inspect railcars for damage and report conditions that may require repair. Previous railroad experience is not required. We provide training for candidates who are safety-minded, willing to learn, and comfortable performing physical work in a fast-paced environment.
