What to ExpectIn the Technician Trainee Intern role, you will be servicing customer vehicles and completing hands on tasks at the service center. In addition to being a team player, excellent oral and written communication is desired as you will be in a customer facing role. As an Intern, you will also learn about electric vehicles and Tesla's innovative technologies, in accelerating the world's transition to sustainable energy. What You'll Do Perform entry-level work in the inspection, repair, and service of Tesla electric vehiclesOperate a variety of hand, power, and shop toolsPerform equipment inspections, adjustments and certificationsPerform Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) of new carsMaintain inventory, records of time, shop supplies and partsHelp maintain vehicle cleanliness of customer carsSupport Parts & Front of House operations as needed or on a rotational basisWhat You'll Bring Knowledge of methods and techniques used in the maintenance and repair of vehiclesCurrent enrollment in an Automotive program preferredValid driver's licenserequiredand must be capable of reporting to training location or local service center as neededAbility tolift upto 60 poundsBe able to work in a team-based environment and have a "safety first" attitudeFamiliar understanding of the English languageBasic computer skills, including navigating web browsers and using standard applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel,Powerpoint, Outlook)Compensation and BenefitsBenefits As a full-time Tesla Intern, you will be eligible for:
