Job Description

Description Cage Repair Position Summary Pilgrim's is seeking a dependable and hardworking Cage Repair team member to join our operation. This position is responsible for repairing and rebuilding wire cages used in production operations. The ideal candidate will have welding experience, the ability to perform physically demanding work, and the willingness to work in a variety of environmental conditions. The Cage Repair team member plays a critical role in maintaining equipment integrity, supporting operational efficiency, and ensuring workplace safety. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Repair and rebuild wire cages using stick welding techniques. Inspect cages for damage and determine necessary repairs. Safely operate welding and repair equipment. Lift and move materials weighing up to 80 pounds. Stand for extended periods of time, typically 8 to 9 hours per shift. Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including temperatures below freezing and above 100°F. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Stick welding experience preferred. Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 80 pounds on a regular basis. Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday.
