Collect cement samples from each truck, including up to five different cement types, and follow strict cross-containment procedures to prevent product mixing. Regularly climb 2-3 flights of stairs and work comfortably at heights as needed to access equipment and rail car components. Follow all plant safety procedures and consistently wear required personal protective equipment, including steel-toe footwear and other designated gear. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate rail car movements, unloading schedules, and any issues with equipment or material flow. Report equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or process deviations promptly and assist with basic troubleshooting when appropriate. Essential Skills Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. Comfort working at heights and climbing multiple flights of stairs frequently. Basic computer skills for monitoring unloading systems and material flow through a computer interface. Strong attention to detail to ensure proper material movement and adherence to containment protocols. Ability to follow strict cross-containment procedures when collecting and handling multiple cement types. Reliability and a strong safety focus in an industrial environment with moving mechanical equipment. Willingness and ability to work mandatory overtime when required. Capability to perform physical labor in a fast-paced industrial setting, including loading and unloading trucks and railcars. Ability to work effectively around heavy lifting tasks and general labor responsibilities. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience working with railcars, loading and unloading bulk materials, or similar industrial operations is beneficial. Previous experience in general labor roles within manufacturing, construction, or industrial environments is an asset. Familiarity with pneumatic and mechanical equipment used for material handling is helpful. Comfort working in outdoor and plant environments that may involve varying weather conditions, noise, and dust.
