In this industrial role, you will perform detailed inspections of mobile cranes, verify compliance with OSHA and ASME standards, and issue clear, accurate certification reports. Working on client sites, you'll assess mechanical, hydraulic, and structural crane components, identify safety hazards, and partner with operators and maintenance teams to ensure safe, reliable lifting operations. Responsibilities Perform detailed inspections of mobile cranes and lifting equipment per OSHA and ASME standards Document inspection findings and prepare clear certification reports Identify, prioritize, and communicate safety hazards and required corrections Verify proper operation of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical crane systems Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to schedule inspections and minimize downtime Maintain inspection records and support compliance audits Provide safety guidance and technical support to crane operators and clients Travel to industrial and construction sites to complete field inspections Required Skills Mobile crane inspection Crane load chart interpretation Hydraulic and mechanical systems diagnostics NDT techniques (visual, magnetic, ultrasonic) OSHA and
