Job Description
This Opportunity WSP is one of the globe's leading engineering firms, helping New England clients and communities improve their infrastructure, while committing to, and developing professional careers in construction management and inspection. Over the past thirty-five years our local construction management division and inspection team have overseen and inspected a wide range of significant projects. These include Connecticut's major interstate interchanges, the Charter Oak and Quinnipiac River Bridges, the railroad moveable Walk Bridge, and Rhode Island's East Side Transit Tunnel. WSP is seeking a construction Inspector based out of our Glastonbury, Connecticut office to help oversee highway, bridge, and rail construction projects throughout Connecticut. Depending on experience, the Inspector will oversee work such as roadway paving, excavation, backfill, drainage, traffic control, bridge structural steel and rebar placement, concrete pours, pile driving, utility installation, and other related activities. The inspector will report to the Resident Engineer/Chief Inspector or their designee.
