Nampa, Idaho, United States Job Description Daily Hauling:
Complete repeated short-haul cycles (3 to 8 runs daily) connecting aggregate sources/pits with batch plants, asphalt operations, and active residential or commercial job sites. [ 1 , 2 ]
Loading & Weighing:
Check in at scale houses, ensure proper weight distribution, and scale out safely before transit. [ 1 ]
Site Operations:
Communicate clearly with site personnel, maneuver large equipment safely in tight spaces, and operate side-dump or end-dump controls to unload materials. [ 1 , 2 ]
Inspections & Maintenance:
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections; keep the truck cab and exterior clean and organized. [ 1 , 2 ]
Compliance:
Maintain accurate daily logs, weight tickets, and compliance with all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and Idaho Department of Transportation (ITD) regulations.
Certifications:
Current DOT medical card.
Physical & Safety Standards:
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR), ability to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screenings (including THC state nuances where applicable), and comfort working in rugged outdoor/construction environments.
