Southern Line Traffic Solutions LLC is seeking dependable, safety-minded individuals to join our traffic control crews. Our employees are responsible for setting up, maintaining, and removing temporary traffic control zones that protect the traveling public, our customers, and workers on the jobsite. This is an outdoor, safety-sensitive position that requires employees to remain alert, communicate effectively, follow instructions, and work as part of a two-person or multi-person crew. Work locations and schedules may vary depending on customer needs. Duties & Responsibilities Employees may be expected to: Set up and remove temporary traffic control zones using cones, signs, barricades, and other traffic control devices. Perform flagging operations and safely direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic through active work zones. Follow approved traffic control plans and supervisor instructions. Operate company trucks and safely transport traffic control equipment to and from jobsites. Load, unload, place, retrieve, and properly store signs, cones, stands, and other equipment. Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain company vehicles and equipment in a clean, professional condition. Use two-way radios and other communication equipment to coordinate traffic movement with other crew members. Remain attentive to changing traffic patterns, work-zone hazards, construction equipment, and the traveling public. Immediately report unsafe conditions, damaged equipment, accidents, or incidents to a supervisor. Maintain a professional appearance and conduct when dealing with customers, contractors, coworkers, and the public. Work outdoors in heat, cold, rain, and other normal weather conditions. Stand for extended periods and repeatedly lift, carry, and place traffic control equipment. Be available for occasional early mornings, nights, weekends, emergency calls, or extended shifts when required by customer or project needs. Perform other traffic-control and safety-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications Applicants must:

Have a clean motor vehicle record and be insurable to operate company vehicles. Possess a valid driver's license. Have reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Be able to safely lift and carry approximately 50 lbs. Be willing and able to work outdoors and remain on their feet for extended periods. Be able to understand and follow safety procedures and supervisor instructions. Be dependable, punctual, alert, and capable of working without constant supervision. Be willing to work changing job locations and schedules as needed. Maintain a professional attitude and work effectively as part of a crew. Successfully complete required traffic-control/flagger training or certification as applicable. Drug & Alcohol Policy Southern Line Traffic Solutions LLC is a drug-free workplace. Pay:

$19.50 - $35.00 per hour
