We are looking for UAS technicians excited to accelerate the future of low-altitude air dominance and build our experimental fighter drones. Technician - UAV Systems (Entry to Mid-Level)
Location:
Marietta, Georgia Objectives of this role:
  • A specialist responsible for the maintenance, assembly, and operational support of UAV systems
  • Inspect, assemble, maintain, repair, and test UAV and related systems to ensure nominal performance
  • Perform pre/post-flight checks, troubleshoot electronics, and operate in hangar, workshop, and field environments. Requirements typically include technical skills in electronics/aeronautics and sometimes FAA Part 107 certification.
Maintenance & Repair:
Performing scheduled maintenance, repairing structural components, and testing systems to ensure airworthiness.
    Flight Line Operations:
    Launching, recovering, and inspecting aircraft.
      Troubleshooting:
      Diagnosing and resolving technical issues, including engine and flight control problems.
        Compliance:
        Ensuring all operations comply with safety regulations.
        Required Skills and Qualifications:
          Technical Knowledge:
          Understanding of electronics, mechanics, and avionics. Familiarity with UAS hardware and ground control station software.
            Soft Skills:
            Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication.
              Experience:
              Previous experience with UAS platforms and software. Export Control Requirements. This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
              Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
              • Technical degree from an accredited course of study or relevant technical certification (e.g., A&P, JSTD Soldering, IPC certifications), or comparable work experience that benefits your role as a UAS technician
              Certifications:
              FAA Part 107 or specific industry certifications related to UAS
              • Experience assembling high-assurance, safety-critical, and flight-critical applications
              • Proficiency with Ardupilot, QGround Control, Mission Planner, etc.
