Quality Control Specialist Leading family-owned moving company is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Quality Control Specialist to ensure the highest standards are upheld on residential and commercial moves. This role is responsible for visiting job sites, evaluating crew performance, and ensuring that all moving operations meet company expectations, safety standards, and customer needs.

Starting pay:

$50-55,000 per year, depending on experience

Work Hours:

Monday through Friday, 7:30am - 5:00pm with one hour for lunch Possibility of occasional evenings as needed for late jobs Rotating schedule with 3 other employees for Saturdays from 8am-12pm

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct inspections of packing, loading, unloading, and overall move execution at customer's residences and businesses and in our warehouse. Ensure all work meets company policies, customer expectations, and safety regulations. Monitor crews in real time, offering support and resolving issues as they arise. Deliver constructive feedback and on-the-spot coaching to moving crews. Provide exceptional customer service and de-escalate issues professionally when needed. Maintain accurate records of job visits, client feedback, and quality metrics. Identify recurring problems and recommend improvements to training or procedures. Manage new crew member training in packing, loading and unloading, inventory procedures, safety, quality standards, and professionalism. Collaborate, assist, and provide back-up for dispatch and operations.

Qualifications:

Prior experience in quality control within the moving industry, transportation industry, consumer service, or hospitality is required. Experience working in dispatching within the moving, transportation, or logistics industries is a plus. Strong customer service skills; ability to remain calm, courteous, and solution oriented. Proven ability to assess team performance and give effective feedback. Physically able to be on job sites, including walking, lifting, and evaluating loading processes. Clean driving record and valid driver's license (company vehicle provided to visit job sites). Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
