We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to inspect precision-machined components in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong blueprint reading skills, working knowledge of GD&T, and experience using precision measurement tools and inspection equipment.
  • Set up and use precision hand gaging and standard inspection equipment, including optical comparators, toolmaker's microscopes, Rockwell testers, and other related inspection tools.
  • Perform First Article, first-piece, and in-process inspections to verify compliance with customer, engineering, and quality requirements.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, specifications, and quality documentation.
  • Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles during inspection activities.
  • Ensure products meet dimensional, visual, and documentation requirements prior to shipment.
  • Accurately record inspection data and maintain quality records.
  • Communicate inspection results and quality concerns to production and management teams.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and basic computer proficiency.
  • Develop the knowledge and capability to become a Designated Quality Representative (DQR).
  • Maintain familiarity with AS9100 quality management standards and aerospace inspection requirements.
  • Previous quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within aerospace or precision machining.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
  • Working knowledge of GD&T.
  • Experience using precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Pay:
$25.00 - $29.00 per hour
