This is a senior role for a proven aerospace quality leader who combines deep technical expertise of inspection and quality systems with the people skills to build and develop a high-performing team. Overview Starting Pay Range:

$40.00 - $55.00 per hour, based on relevant experience and interview performance

Work Schedule:

M-F 6:30am - 5:00pm, with some flexibility as needed based on order volume and business needs.

Non-Exempt (eligible for overtime pay rate) Health/Vision/Dental/Life insurance after 60 days. 80 hours of PTO per year (40 hours after 30 days + 40 hours after 6 months) 6 observed holidays + 1 floating holiday 401k plan available after 1 year (3% match) What You'll Do People Management Mentor, develop, and lead 12+ subordinate staff within the QC Lab. Efficiently delegate and direct work to QC personnel, harnessing employee potential to meet aerospace quality assurance requirements within customer deadlines Communicate inspection status, quality issues, and process performance to leadership and customers Partner with HR on performance management, disciplinary matters, staffing needs, and interviewing Quality Assurance Oversight Check and approve final inspection packages, owning responsibility for the quality and integrity of all part lots inspected and prepared for shipping. Address product issues quickly with corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) Oversee audits of manufacturing processes and our Quality Management System in accordance with

ISO 9001

standards. Document and monitor execution of production part approval process (PPAP) packages in alignment with company standards and customer requirements Develop, implement, and maintain inspection and control plans Analyze and interpret quality data from production and customer feedback to spot trends and improvement opportunities Partner with suppliers to ensure raw materials and components meet company standards What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field preferred 10+ years of quality engineering/inspection experience, including 5+ years in aerospace or defense manufacturing Superb leadership abilities; willing and able to delegate work, to motivate employees, and to build a culture of accountability and positivity Skilled in interpreting technical drawings, including GD&T Familiar with problem-solving frameworks (Six Sigma, 8D, 5 Whys) Deep understanding of aerospace quality control conventions and standards, including AS9100 and

ISO 9001

Experience in compiling inspection documentation and executing quality control processes such as PPAPs, FAIs, and PFMEAs Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs), optical comparators, and additional metrology tools Experience in a CNC machining environment Familiarity with handling ITAR-controlled technical data ASQ certification (CQE, CQM/OE, or CQA) is a plus Why You'll Want to Work Here Competitive pay with overtime availability and annual raises.
