Position Overview The Service Porter supports the dealership's service department by assisting with vehicle movement, customer flow, and lot organization. Safety-focused, respectful, and performance-driven Essential Duties and Responsibilities Safely move vehicles to and from service bays, customer areas, and designated parking locations, as assigned Greet and assist customers during service drop-off and pick-up in a professional and courteous manner Maintain a clean, organized, and safe service lot and work areas Assist with vehicle preparation and coordination to support service operations Support Service Greeters in welcoming guests to the service drive, as needed Follow all dealership safety procedures and applicable Cal/OSHA guidelines Perform additional job-related duties consistent with the role, as assigned by management Requirements Driving Assignments Only Valid California driver's license and acceptable driving record Ability to safely operate automatic vehicles (manual transmission preferred but not required) Driving duties are assigned based on role level and operational needs General Qualifications Strong attention to detail and time management skills Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team Reliable attendance and punctuality Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift up to 25 pounds Ability to perform repetitive motions associated with vehicle movement and lot duties Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position, in accordance with applicable law.
