Downtown Los Angeles, CA We are looking for a dependable, responsible Parking Garage Attendant to join our team at a commercial parking facility in Downtown Los Angeles. This is NOT a valet position. You will NOT park or drive customers' vehicles. This position is a good fit for someone who is punctual, observant, comfortable working independently, and enjoys helping customers. We want someone who takes responsibility for their workplace and maintains a professional, visible presence throughout the shift. Responsibilities Greet and assist parking customers in a friendly, professional manner Monitor vehicle entry and exit activity Assist customers with parking tickets, payments, directions, and general questions Handle basic parking transactions and accurately account for any payments received Monitor the garage and report unusual activity, damage, equipment problems, or safety concerns Help keep parking areas, entrances, exits, and pedestrian areas orderly Assist with basic parking equipment and systems as needed Communicate problems promptly to management Maintain a visible and attentive presence throughout the shift Perform other basic parking-facility duties as needed Qualifications Dependable and consistently punctual Honest and responsible Good customer-service and communication skills Comfortable working independently without constant supervision Basic arithmetic skills Comfortable using a smartphone and basic computerized equipment Able to remain attentive during quieter periods Able to stand and walk periodically during the shift Previous parking, customer-service, retail, hospitality, building operations, or similar experience is helpful but not required Reliable transportation to Downtown Los Angeles is important We are willing to train the right person. Reliability, attitude, judgment, and work ethic are more important to us than previous parking experience. Schedule We are hiring for a regular, ongoing position. Applicants should have consistent availability and be able to arrive on time for every scheduled shift. Weekday and/or weekend availability may be required depending on the assigned schedule.
