Servicing Sacramento, Amador, Calaveras, Placer, El Dorado, Yolo, Butte, Stanislaus, San Joaquin, Yuba, and Solano counties. Job Summary - The Utility Route Representative is responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of laundry services to our customers. This role requires flexibility in covering various routes as necessary, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining the integrity of our delivery operations. The ideal candidate will be a reliable team player with strong communication skills and a commitment to customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities - Route Coverage - Cover assigned delivery routes as needed, adapting to changes in scheduling or staffing. Ensure all deliveries are completed on time and according to company standards. Load and unload laundry items efficiently while ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Stocking of product at customers' location Provide exceptional customer service during all interactions, addressing any questions or concerns promptly. Build positive relationships with customers to enhance their experience with our services. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including pick-up and drop-off times, customer signatures, and any discrepancies. Work closely with other team members to coordinate schedules and optimize route efficiency. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while operating the vehicle. Follow proper protocols for handling laundry items, including hazardous materials if applicable. Minor Duties and Responsibilities - Familiarize yourself with all Rammco products Familiarize yourself with the Alliant Mobile System (mobile handheld). Conduct routine inspections of the delivery vehicle to ensure it is clean, safe and in good working condition. Familiarize yourself with all Injury and Safety policies and procedures. Assist in training new employees on delivery procedures and customer service expectations when neccessary. Qualifications for the Job -
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
Excellent DMV record Working knowledge of the route service industry Cash handling
Physical:
Able to stand/drive for extended periods of time Able to lift 50 pounds Pushing and unloading carts Comfortable driving/delivery in inclement weather conditions
