Service Manager or Lot Manager Job Summary Johnson Auto Plaza is seeking dependable and motivated Dealership Lot Technicians to help maintain an organized, clean, and customer-ready vehicle inventory. This position is responsible for moving and staging vehicles, performing basic vehicle checks, keeping the lot and surrounding areas clean, and supporting the sales and service departments with day-to-day lot operations. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Key Responsibilities Move and park vehicles throughout the dealership lot and service areas. Prepare vehicles for customer deliveries, test drives, and service appointments. Perform basic vehicle inspections, including checking fuel levels, tire condition, lights, and general cleanliness. Wash, clean, vacuum, and maintain vehicles as needed. Keep the dealership lot, parking areas, and vehicle display areas clean and organized. Retrieve and deliver vehicles for sales and service personnel. Assist with vehicle inventory organization and vehicle location tracking. Install license plates, dealer tags, floor mats, and other basic vehicle accessories as directed. Maintain keys and ensure vehicles are secured according to dealership procedures. Report vehicle damage, mechanical concerns, or safety issues to management. Follow all dealership safety procedures and applicable traffic laws. Assist other dealership departments with general tasks as needed. Qualifications Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Ability to safely operate automatic and manual-transmission vehicles is preferred. Previous dealership, automotive, detailing, or lot experience is a plus but not required. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Reliable attendance and a positive attitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to work outdoors and stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds when required. Must pass a pre-employment background screening and drug test.
