Job Summary Responsible for assisting with receiving and processing donated items to the Restores. Assists in the loading and unloading of donations. Assists the truck driver as assigned in the daily pick up/deliveries of the items donated or sold. Responsibilities Responsible to load and unload the HFHCC trucks with donations. Receives, inspects, and processes items for sale as directed. Maintains all areas of the store with cleaning processes. Cleans/dusts shelving and items on display. Rearranges displays for freshness and salability. Responsible for cleaning work areas and bathrooms. Complies with HFHCC Policy Manuals. Other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Restore Operations. When on truck, follow all driver's directions. Readies truck for the day with cooler/water/blankets/totes. Responsible for cleanliness of trucks at shifts end. Qualifications Commitment to the ecumenical Christian principles that Habitat for Humanity was founded on, ready to share the mission of HFHCC. Ability to be a lifetime learner and perform duties in a satisfactory manner. Ability to work a flexible schedule as assigned. Attentive, empathetic, collaborative, and harmonious interpersonal skills. Ability to relate well with all constituents, including staff, partnering families, volunteers, business, religious and political communities. High level of self-motivating and stamina in working an appropriate weekly schedule. Ability to appropriately represent HFHCC, advocating the mission and objectives of HFHCC at all functions, internally as well as throughout the community. Excellent interpersonal skills and verbal and written communications skills, able to effectively handles customer questions and complaints. Maintain reasonable and presentable work attire. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
